Makita GD002G 40v Max XGT Cordless Brushless Paddle Switch Die Grinder

The GD002G is a cordless die grinder which is part of the Makita 40v XGT system and will run on any Makita 40v XGT battery. This version has a paddle style safety switch on the underside of the housing, and is designed so that the power is cut to the motor as soon as the trigger is released. For additional safety, the machine features AFT Active Feedback Sensing Technology which will also cut the power if the rotation speed suddenly drops, indicating working conditions that may cause a hazardous kickback. To ensure a longer lifetime in grinding environments, the GD002G has XPT eXtreme Protection Technology which helps to prevent dust and liquids from contaminating the internal components. It has a brushless motor and a variable speed dial, as well as an integrated LED worklight for excellent visibility of the work surface.
