Forged from iron with a classic powder-coated finish, this versatile latch allows you to securely close a multitude of different window types, using either the external hook or the internal mortice plate. Care & Maintenance Product comes with screw fixings. Due to the nature of the material, a pilot hole must be drilled first, to prevent the screw from shearing. Also, screws should be tightened by hand. Do not use a power screwdriver or drill. This product is not suitable for bathrooms or unheated/damp rooms. Cast Iron is a ferrous metal and is prone to rusting. Regular maintenance with a household wax polish is required to help prevent rusting.
