The 16mm (5/8in) Roughneck Pro Series Bevel Edge Chisel is an excellent mid-range size for heavier joinery work and general construction applications. This wider blade provides increased cutting capacity whilst maintaining control, making it ideal for larger mortises, deeper recesses and more substantial timber work where greater material removal is required. Manufactured from chrome vanadium steel and heat treated for long-life performance, this professional-grade chisel features a bevel edge blade with two cutting angles: a 25° ground angle and a pre-honed 30° angle for immediate use. The thru-tang design transfers striking force directly to the cutting edge for maximum effect and outstanding durability. The soft grip handle provides excellent comfort and control during demanding work, whilst the heavy-duty end cap allows repeated striking. Supplied with a tip protector for safe storage and user protection.
