A Makita 18V X2 (36V) LXT BL Brushless Cordless 35 cm (14") Chain Saw. This chain saw features captive nuts which prevent the loss of nut when removing sprocket cover to replace guide bar or saw chain. It has a large separate-type metal spike bumper. The spike grips the work-piece firmly to provide more control. A lock-off level is also included. The unit includes a brushless motor, electric chain brake, kickback brake and ergonomic soft grip. It has variable speed control by trigger as part of the constant speed control. This chain saw includes a handy oil capacity display and adjustable automatic chain lubrication. It is powered by two 18V Li-ion batteries in series to supply energy to the powerful 36V DC motor drive system. There is a main power switch with auto power-off function. The battery protection system provides over-discharge protection for enhanced battery cycle life and overall battery life.
