Makita DHP489Z 18V LXT Combi Drill (Bare Unit)

The DHP489Z is a compact and lightweight cordless Combi Drill, powered by 18V Li-ion LXT slide type battery (not included), to supply energy to the powerful 18V brushless motor, with variable speed controlled by trigger, to deliver 0 to 1800 rpm in high speed mode and 0 to 550 rpm in low speed mode, 0 to 27000 blows per minute in high speed mode and 0 to 8250 blows per minute in low speed and 40 Nm maximum fastening torque on soft mode and 73 Nm on hard mode for a wide range of drilling, fastening and hammer drilling applications. The DHP489Z is equipped with trigger lock function, conveniently located reverse switch, metal gear housing, convenient 13mm keyless chuck with single metal sleeve for quick and easy bit changes, twin LED job light with pre-glow and afterglow and electric brake. The DHP489Z has 21 torque settings plus drill mode for added fastening control, mechanical 2 speed; high speed mode for speedy drilling in light duty applications and low speed mode for heavy duty applications requiring high torque and is capable of drilling up to 1” ship auger in high speed mode into 2x lumber. 16mm maximum capacity in masonry, 13mm maximum capacity in steel, 38mm maximum capacity in wood. The DHP489Z is not compatible with G-Series batteries.
