We also offer Safeguarding Everyone Training at Level 2 and Level 3 Unsure if you require Level 1, 2 or 3 Safeguarding Everyone training? Check out our short guide to find the course that best matches your needs and requirements here. Why take this course? If you work with children or vulnerable adults, you have a statutory duty to safeguard and understand these responsibilities, which is why training is so important. But in order to keep up to date, you have to regularly refresh your knowledge to ensure you still understand your responsibilities. This is why refresher training is so vital. Companies can decide how often they want to refresh their training, but a common suggestion is every two years, though this depends on roles and responsibilities. Course Overview This course provides insights into both safeguarding children and safeguarding adults, ensuring that you can safeguard everyone. The learner is at the heart of our course design. We have created bite-sized modules, which allow you to easily dip in and out of the topic area you are interested in. It also provides flexibility, allowing you to complete the topics in any order. We have also created many real-world immersive scenarios to help embed the learning and put it in the context of your role. Our course covers a range of topics Our course explores the following safeguarding topics, covering both children and vulnerable adults: An overview of safeguarding Why is safeguarding important Serious case reviews and Bichard reports The latest legislation and guidance Multi-agency working Jargon and key terms National and local contexts Types of abuse Signs and symptoms of abuse Reducing the likelihood of abuse Whistleblowing Roles and responsibilities Recognising abuse How to deal with suspected/disclosed abuse Record-keeping and recording Who should take this course?
