Calogen can be used to supplement or fortify the diet of people who are unable to meet their energy requirements from regular dietary intake. Calogen is suitable for people requiring electrolyte restrictions, can be used to replace milk in protein restricted diets and can be used as an energy enhancer in tube feeds and oral nutritional supplements. Calogen Neutral may be prescribed for the following indications: disease related malnutrition malabsorption states, or other conditions requiring fortification with a high fat supplement with or without fluid and electrolyte restriction. Neutral Calogen is suitable for infants and children. It may need to be diluted for children under 5 years of age.
