Alcohol will limit Cialis' effectiveness. Do not combine Cialis with other ED medicines. Some additional rare side effects have been reported in men taking Cialis that were not seen in clinical trials. These include: • Migraine • Swelling of the face • Serious allergic reaction which causes swelling of the face or throat • Serious skin rashes • Some disorders affecting blood flow to the eyes • Irregular heartbeats, angina and sudden cardiac death. • Distorted, dimmed, blurred central vision or sudden decrease of vision (frequency not known). The side effect of dizziness has been reported more frequently in men over 75 years of age taking Cialis. Diarrhoea has been reported more frequently in men over 65 years of age taking Cialis. Warnings Ingredients What Cialis contains - The active substance is tadalafil. Each tablet contains 10 mg of tadalafil. The other ingredients may vary depending on the manufacturer of the tablet. Ingredients FAQ Is Cialis stronger than Viagra? Cialis and Viagra contain different active ingredients. Cialis contains tadalafil whereas Viagra contains sildenafil. Both increase blood flow to the penis enabling firmer erections. However, some men may find they have a stronger reaction when taking one of these medications. What should you not take with Cialis? You will be unsuitable for Cialis if you are taking alpha-blockers (such as doxazosin or tamsulosin), nicorandil or nitrates, such as GTN spray or isosorbide mononitrate tablets to treat angina. It is important that you let us know which prescription, over-the-counter medicines and recreational drugs you are taking so that we can prescribe Cialis safely. Alternative ED treatments There are alternatives treatments, such as lifestyle changes, that can help. Some men find counselling helpful as a means of exploring and treating psychological causes for ED.FAQ
