The formulation includes solanum lycopersicum fruit lipids, derived from upcycled tomato skins and seed oil, to help maintain the skin’s moisture barrier during cleansing. These lipids contain fatty acids that support moisture retention, including linoleic acid, which contributes to ceramide structure, and oleic acid, which helps soften the skin. Naturally rich in lycopene and carotene, these fruit lipids give the cleanser its distinctive orange hue.
