Wear gloves and mix the color cream with developer (about 1:1.5 ratio) in a non-metallic bowl until smooth. For virgin hair, apply from mid-lengths to ends first, then to roots for the last 15–20 minutes. For retouching, start with the roots and pull through to the lengths in the final 5–10 minutes if needed.
