Much like acrylic, polycarbonate can be cut using conventional tools though it is slightly harder to do so. However this property does make it easier to drill, and a normal drill bit can be used close to an edge with a far lesser chance of cracking. Polycarbonate mirror is a versatile material and it can be used in a wide range of situations and environments such as cafes, bars, prisons, dance studios, restaurants, gyms, stables and other places where safety is paramount. Polycarbonate is easier to clean than Acrylic because of its increased resistance to chemicals. Although like acrylic, polycarbonate can scratch so be careful. Outdoor use: Polycarbonate mirrors are not suitable for outdoor use.
