It Is A Very Rich Oil And Therefore Especially Suitable For Use In The Last Colour Layers Of A Painting. Stand Oil Is Excellent As A Lacquer Medium And In The Preparation Of Painting Mediums. It Increases Drying Time And Gloss, And Reduces The Risk Of Paint Wrinkling. It Is Also Good For Thinning Oil Paint, Giving More Fluid Brush Strokes. It Can Be Thinned With Turpentine Or Turpentine Substitute.
