Dianthus barbatus 'Volcano Mix' - Organic Seeds

A cottage garden staple, these pretty Sweet Williams are first-year flowering and best grown as an annual. Use Dianthus 'Volcano Mix' in pots and borders where they will create a flush of red, purple, pink and coral single and bi-coloured blooms from May to June. Their sweet, clove-like scent makes fragrant bouquets for the house and lovely posies to give away as gifts. Height: 60cm (24?). Spread: 30cm (12?).   Culinary note: Use the clove like tasting petals for adding to cakes, either for flavour or decorating, suitable for soups, salads and sauces too.
