Briza Media

A wonderful perennial grass which creates compact mounds of semi-evergreen, blue-green foliage. Purple tinged, miniature hop-like flowerheads dangle from its slender stems and move in the breeze to create a shimmering haze. Briza Media has lots of appropriate nicknames such as Dithering Grass, Doddering Dillies and Jiggle Joggles and is most effective grown en masse where it will create a wild, casual look. It associates perfectly with prairie-style plants and other grasses and also makes a beautiful feature in a pot. The seed heads are superb for dried flower displays. Height and Spread: 50-90cm (20-35?).
