Product Description

A pack of high quality, detailed 3D printed K2 telephone boxes/kiosks in OO | 1:76 scale. Telephone boxes are supplied unpainted and printed in grey ABS-like resin. The K2 kiosk was Britain's first red Telephone Box. It was the winning design from a 1924 competition to find the design for a national kiosk. Designed by British architect Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, the K2 was introduced in 1926 and over the next nine years some 1,700 examples were installed mostly in London. The design of the K2 features many influences of classical architecture. Just over 200 examples remain on British streets and these are given Grade II listing status by English Heritage. Includes an interior back panel for each model with shelves as seen in K2 phone kiosks back in their heyday. This model is ready for you to paint and weather with acrylic paints if required. Our telephone boxes are much more detailed and better quality 3D prints than some of our competitors' products.. Use them on your layout to add to realistic street and station scenes.
