Turner : Japanesque Acrylic Gouache Paint

Turner Acryl Gouache paint is opaque and dries quickly to a matt finish. Manufactured in Japan, these paints are coloured with extremely finely ground pigment and have a fluid consistency which enables an even spread of uniform colour across large areas. Turner Acryl Gouache can be used with regular acrylic mediums (such as Golden mediums) and thinned with water. Once dry, they are water-resistant, which means they can be applied in multiple layers without bleeding (working times can be extended using the Turner Retarder). These paints are highly adhesive, and when they are used over the specially formulated Turner grounds, they can be used on almost any surface, including rock, metal, glass, paper, canvas, and wood. The Japanesque colours, have a slightly coarse texture. This texture is designed to mimic that of traditional Japanese paints, which are made from crushed mineral pigments, shells, corals, and even semi-precious stones (like malachite, azurite, and cinnabar) suspended in a hide glue binder.
