Midnight Sun Whale Watching from Reykjavik

During the summer months Iceland has nearly 24 hours of daylight, which allows tours to operate under the beautiful midnight sun. There's something extra-special about seeing whales in the evening, surrounded by the glow from an evening sun reflecting off of the waters of the North Atlantic. This tour is 2-2.5 hours in duration, so you return to harbour just before midnight, giving you plenty of time to search for whales with one of our experienced guides. The four most common species that are seen in Faxaflói Bay are humpback whales, white-beaked dolphins, harbour porpoises and minke whales.
