Delilah Buttercream Bloom Vase

The mantelpiece that has one good thing on it and nothing else. Made north of Beijing in Hebei province, where mouth-blown decorative glass has been produced for generations, the Delilah is formed in pale buttercream with a fluted bloom rim — the kind of finish that only comes from a maker working by hand rather than by mould. At 21cm it sits easily beside ceramics from other traditions. A piece that earns its place without asking for attention.
