Vibia Empty 4135 outdoor light made of concrete, 25 cm

Empty 4135/4136 outdoor light combines functionality and architectural design Whether in a garden, on a terrace or at the side of a path, the Empty outdoor light sets the scene for its surroundings. It is made of robust polymer concrete that can withstand any climate and also protects the attached LED strips from the weather. The upper surface of the light can bear a load of up to 150 kg and, thanks to its dimensions, is suitable for use as a seat or storage surface. This is because the light is not only intended for illumination, but also combines the functionality of a piece of furniture with that of a lamp, true to the concept of "furniture meets light". The idea for the concept came from Spanish manufacturer Vibia, which commissioned designer Xuclà to create Empty. The designer has been working with Vibia for many years and is known for his architectural and minimalist creations. With Empty, he created a lighting concept that showcases natural or urban environments by day and by night and was awarded the Best of Year Award in 2015.
