Scalloped Vintage Inspired Green Glass Vase

The scalloped rim is a direct inheritance from Victorian pressed glass — the technique that brought decorative glassware out of aristocratic households and into the wider culture in the 1840s, the scallop edge becoming one of its most enduring signatures. Two tones of green in a single piece, the bottle form given a considered finish at the lip. At 21cm it sits equally well alone or beside other collected objects, the glass catching light differently depending on where it stands.
