The sari material comes from Varanasi, one of the most religious cities in the world and a centre of excellence for sari making. The pages are created from khadda paper (also known as kaddi or khaddi). This sustainable material is crafted by hand from recycled cotton, salvaged from the huge waste of the Indian garment industry. Only unbleached cotton is used, ensuring the paper is acid-free. Lightly textured and luxuriously thick, it feels beautiful to write, draw, or paint on. While it's perfect for ball-point pens, gel pens, or watercolours, we wouldn't recommend it for use with fountain pens. Photos can be placed inside the photo album with glue, spray mount, or add a pack of our clear, self-adhesive photo corners to your order so that you're ready to go as soon as it arrives. Due to the handmade nature of our products each one is unique, but loveliness comes as standard.
