Secure steel Hazardous Substance COSHH cupboards Hazardous substances that pose potential health and safety risks such as chemicals paints and other hazardous materials need to be kept in a safe place. Hazardous substance cupboards (also known as COSHH cupboards) are designed to hold them securely. These COSHH cupboards are constructed out of steel and fitted with reinforced doors while a 3-point locking system provides additional security. Added features include BioCote protection with the powder coat paint finish to reduce any risk of cross-contamination. All of the hazardous substance COSHH cupboards incorporate a 35-litre fully welded integral sump to catch any leaks and spillages. Long Lasting COSHH Cabinets Our range of COSHH cabinets are built to last and require little maintenance thanks to their robust steel structure. These hazardous substance cupboards also feature adjustable shelving to maximise storage space. There are safety features for staff accessing the hazardous substance cupboards. The door handle sits flush and eliminates the danger of snagging when hazardous substances are being handled. For smaller COSHH cupboards there is also a flush-fitting handle but cam lock locking comes as standard. Crucially all the hazardous substance cupboards have been assessed by independent bodies as meeting Health and Safety at Work legislation requirements and conform to HSG51 and SR24. All the cupboards further meet Health and Safety regulations by providing high visibility labels conforming to BS5609. The labels stipulate: corrosive materials highly flammable or harmful materials. There are no fewer than 12 types of hazardous substance cupboards available to order. Some are available with shelving. The smallest weighs 8 kg and the largest 58 kg.
