Hadrian's Wall Ceramic Coaster - Carlisle Castle

The boar was discovered at Carlisle Castle and was originally labelled a prisoners carving. It was later found that there is no evidence of a prison on site; however it is still believed that the carving was completed by hand and is a form of graffiti.
