But you will certainly get excellent value. Oily - Mackerel, Herring etc Prime - Tuna, Swordfish etc White fish - Cod, Haddock etc Please note The average weight of clearance packs is always higher than the advertised weight but the weight of any individual pack may be lower. Some clearance packs include an ice glaze of up to 20%. This means, for instance, that a pack marked 500g would contain only 400g of fish. Some items are past their best before dates but still, in our view, good to eat. The MAIN item in any clearance pack will be clear from the pack name, but it may contain a smaller quantity of another item to make up the weight (but nothing 'weird')
