A beautiful example of bio-dynamic white Muscadet wine from the Loire valley, from Domaine Bonnet Huteau. The colour of this wine is a very pale yellow, with green-silver reflections. The nose is discreet, on passion fruit, lemon zest, and wet stone. The palate is round, fresh, and invigorating, with a delicious and tasty substance, sprinkled with thousands of micro-bubbles. Aromatically, we stay in the lemon/stone register, even if the latter tends to take over. There's also green apple, reinforcing the thirst-quenching side. The finish is reinforced by the bitterness/astringency duo, evoking the peel of yellow grapefruit, with a persistence on chalky and lemony notes - and a hint of fresh pineapple. This wine is suitable for both men and women.
