Biodynamic Meunier Chardonnay 2023

The latest cuvee from Ham Street Wines - a carbonic maceration of Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. The blend was around 80% Meunier, 20% Chardonnay with the bunches co-fermenting together for 25 days in a carbonic maceration. After basket pressing them, they were matured in a stainless tank before bottling according to the lunar calendar. The resulting wine is a mellow light red, with stewed red fruits, violets and other floral notes with a herbal character and subtle smokiness.. A fun, light red that works well slightly chilled, with the complexity to work well with a range of food!
