For many years, Peugeot has been committed to continually improving its environmental responsibility and with the Paris Nature wooden pepper mills, Peugeot has taken a new step forward in transforming this vision into exemplary design. The Paris Nature 18cm pepper mill is unique as a piece of culinary art and design technology, having been visualised to be more resource efficient and more respectful of the environment. During the manufacturing cycle of our salt and pepper mills, some of the wood is discarded if it is considered to be inconsistent in appearance and texture. However, the intrinsic qualities of strength and durability remain intact and so we undergo a process of original texturing by spraying crushed walnut shells onto the body of the salt and pepper mills. This has given the manual Paris Nature pepper mill a unique and authentic style. The body of the Paris Nature mill is then protected by an ecological varnish of vegetable origin composed of linseed oil and carnauba wax to preserve the natural character of the wood and ensure its maximum longevity. The Paris Nature pepper mill is filled with a powerful Fair Trade red pepper with intensely fruity notes, from an organic, fair trade certified farm in the Kampot region of Cambodia. Any foody who appreciates all the nuances of flavour and loves to experiment with cooking will be seduced by this innovative pepper mill.
