The Clarke CST1 Stove Thermometer is a must-have item for your stove. The simple yet effective device allows you to keep the heat of the stove or oven at the perfect temperature at all times; this is important not only for your own comfort, but also for extending the lifespan of your stove. If the temperature is too low, creosote deposits will build up causing a potential fire hazard, and if the temperature is too high, your stove will have a poor burning efficiency and could potentially ignite any existing deposits within the flue or chimney. It is therefore important to be able to find the correct temperature and manage it easily. The thermometer attaches to the stove or flue via a magnetic strip on the back of the product. Complete combustion and best efficiency. Less than 150°C: Temperature too low and there will be incomplete combustion, causing smoke, soot, and hazardous creosote. Open draught and/or add more fuel.
