Known as the Mile A Minute plant for good reason, Fallopia baldschuanica is a vigorous climber, perfect for quickly concealing unsightly areas in the garden. This Russian Vine readily establishes itself, developing into a substantial, woody climber adorned with heart-shaped foliage. From August to September, it produces abundant, airy panicles of small white flowers tinged with pink. Reaching a maximum height of 1200cm and spread of 800cm, it thrives in any poor to moderately fertile soil, whether in sun, semi-shade, or shade. Regular pruning is recommended to manage its growth and careful consideration should be given to its planting location, as it can be invasive. Supplied as 1 x Fallopia baldschuanica in a 1.7-litre pot. Position: Sun, Semi-Shade or Shade. Height: Up to 1200cm when fully established. Spread: Up to 800cm when fully established.
