The Hydrangea Paniculata ‘Switch Ophelia’ is perfectly proportioned for your patio or the front of borders, reaching a compact height of just 50cm. Uniquely, it flowers much earlier in the year than many other paniculata types. As the name 'Switch Ophelia’ suggests, its bold blooms change colour as they mature, opening greenish-white before developing a pretty pink blush as summer progresses, eventually becoming rich pink towards the end of the season. This handsome Hydrangea is undemanding and rewarding to grow.Supplied as a 3-litre potted plant, this Hydrangea thrives in a position of sun or semi-shade, or dappled shade. Expect a height and spread of up to 50cm when fully established. The flowering period extends from June to October.
