Not only is it fitted with a brushless motor but it also features triple edged cutting teeth and a curved blade which is designed to cut quickly and cleanly with minimal friction, putting less strain on the motor and draining the battery at a slower rate. This model is supplied as a bare tool (wihout battery or charger). It can be used with the battery from any other tool in the Makita 18v LXT range. A complete range of LXT batteries and chargers is also avialable separately if you require them.
