Part of Makita's 18v LXT cordless platform, the DUX18 is a split shaft power head which was designed to be a basic, cost competitive model but with all the flexibility afforded by the Makita garden multi tool attachments. The DUX18 has a soft start brushless motor, electric brake, variable speed control, AFT technology and Constant Speed control to ensure consistent performance under load. The Makita EM406MP line trimmer attachment has a steel drive shaft for less vibration and a longer equipment life. It also features a bump and feed trimmer head for efficient grass cutting. The adaptable attachments are easily fitted with a tool-less slide joint coupling with a simple clip-lock fixing the attachment securely in place.
