ZigBee LED recessed luminaire Veluna Edge with VariFit terminals and IP44 protection The VariFit LED recessed panel Veluna Edge impresses with a very flat profile and its frameless appearance. It is made of plastic and is completely white. Since Veluna Edge is protected against splashing water thanks to the IP44 protection rating, it is also suitable for use in bathrooms as well as in covered outdoor areas. This built-in panel is particularly flexible thanks to continuously adjustable clamping springs. Thus, it can be quickly and easily inserted into various drill holes with different diameters. Veluna Edge can be switched on and off using conventional wall switches. For dimming as well as for adjusting the light color, the integration into a ZigBee-capable smart home system is necessary. Here, either the separately available bridge from Paulmann, the gateway smik, can be used or the panel can be integrated into a compatible system, such as Philips Hue or IKEA Tradfri. Alternatively, the operation of the intelligent lighting control is also possible without a bridge via suitable smart home accessories, such as the ZigBee remote control from Paulmann. The various ZigBee components are available via the accessories.
