Rogne, who actually worked in management consulting after his master's degree in economics, was driven by the desire to work more creatively. in 2005, he founded the lighting company Northern Lighting with three friends, and in 2006 he created the award-winning floor lamp Oslo Wood. In 2018, the company, which now also produces furniture and other interior design articles, was renamed Northern.
