Product Description
Dimmable floor lamp Oslo Wood with olive green shade This floor lamp with a filigree steel tripod frame and a shade of slightly transparent fabric was created by Ove Rogne, who founded Northern Lighting in 2005. One year later Rogne designed the Oslo Wood floor lamp. He was inspired by the interplay of light and shadow in the trees in the centre of Oslo, which filter urban light and scatter it upwards to illuminate the dark winter sky. The extraordinary thing about Oslo Wood is the umbrella, which can be swivelled in all directions thanks to a joint. In addition, the tapering of the conical shape does not point upwards, as is usually the case with such umbrellas, but in this case downwards. The whole thing therefore looks more like a spotlight, but with the advantage that the light emitted is very soft and diffused. Oslo Wood can be dimmed via the dimmer switch in the cable. The Norwegian company operated under the name of Northern Lighting until 2018 and was simply renamed Northern due to the fact that it is now also increasingly involved in general interior design.
