The base of the lamp is a faceted cylinder made of anodized aluminum, which acts as a switch and dimmer by turning it. The designer of this intuitive LED table lamp is Joel Hoff, who graduated from the Royal College of Art in Londen with a Master in Design Products. His goal is to design objects for mass production, but not to fuel mass consumption, but to inspire people to own fewer things of higher quality. Hoff wants to combine durability in both materials and design in his designs.
