Swirl pendant light - organically curved shape made of wood veneer The Swirl pendant light is designed as a swirl of intertwined and interwoven strips of wood veneer. When the light is switched on, the fine grain of the wood becomes even more visible and the precise contours develop an exciting interplay of light and shadow. With its soulful character and presence, the Swirl pendant light immediately attracts attention and lends itself as a natural accent to a variety of interior design concepts. Swirl was designed by Ray Power and is a prime example of the Irish designer's approach to creating three-dimensional shapes from thin layers. The wood veneer is moulded into its thin, elastic and transcendent shape using the Timberlite® process by the manufacturer LZF LAMPS. The Swirl pendant light has already been honoured with the Good Design Award in Chicago and the German Design Award Special in 2017 - with wood from sustainable, environmentally friendly forestry (FSC®-certified)
