You cannot directly wire it to the mains circuit because it will ruin your lights. But what kind of 24v DC LED driver should you use? This COB LED strip light is 14w per metre . To get the driver, multiply the wattage per metre by the total length of strips you ll connect! So, if you re using 5 metres of strip light, multiply it by 14w, and you ll need a 100w LED driver (rounded up to the closest available driver). Always round up to avoid overloading the driver! Recommended to Use with Our LED Profiles We recommend using this COB LED strip with one of the LED profiles in our extensive collection. Why? Because using an LED profile will protect your strips against dust, dirt, and curious hands. Also, it'll make the strip lights appear more finished and refined! Regarding waterproofing, not all LED profiles can 100% fend off liquids. So, to be sure, it's still best to use an IP65 (and up) LED strip for bathroom and outdoor applications.
