Four cables hang from the aluminium canopy, to which a bar, also made of aluminium and painted to match the canopy, is attached. The conical lampshade, which gives Conus its name, is made of opal white glass, which provides slightly diffuse light at the sides. Its warm white light is generated by LEDs with good colour rendering and can be dimmed externally using a triac. If the light intensity is reduced, the colour temperature also decreases and becomes warmer (dimmable to warm), allowing the lighting mood to be individually adjusted and Conus also adorns the ceiling as a decorative element when switched off. It is handmade in Germany by the lighting manufacturer BANKAMP.
