Forestier Chanpen M Diamant pendant light, white

Chanpen hemp pendant light from Hausen Forestier Chanpen is the name of the luminaire series developed by designer Anon Pairot for French lighting manufacturer Forestier. Chanpen means full moon, which says a lot about the shape of the light. The lampshade is circular and actually looks like a full moon when suspended from the ceiling. What is special about the material of the lampshade is that it is made from abacá, i.e. special hemp fibres. The fibres, which vary in thickness, are looped around the shade frame in a diamond pattern reminiscent of the cut of a Diamant. Anon Pairot has already worked for well-known companies such as Fendi, Habitat and Grohe and was able to fulfil his preference for working with natural and sustainable materials at Forestier and design a light made of hemp with Chanpen.
