Elegant Futura wall light made of Italian glass - made in Murano The Futura wall light, which was made in the glass huts on the island of Murano near Venice, radiates a gentle light and an elegant ambience. A special technique allows the trained glass blowers to produce a closed glass body in a single piece that looks as if it comprises two different glass elements, made of opal and clear glass. In the Futura wall light, this division is emphasised by the metal strip with a bronze finish. The wall bracket has a matt black colour. The prototype of this light was an exclusive design for the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice. The Hangar Design Group was commissioned to redesign the cafeteria of the famous museum and designed a light called Peggy, which expresses both simplicity and sophistication. The initially limited version of this light has now gone into series production in the form of the Futura model and can thus adorn and provide lighting in private homes or hotels throughout the world. - With handblown, multi-layered glass
