The lamp with GU10 socket can be operated using a dimmer switch (see accessories) or via Bluetooth directly using the Philips Hue Bluetooth app for tablet and smartphone. As the lamp also communicates using the ZigBee standard, it can be integrated into any ZigBee-based smart home system as required. A Hue bridge and router enable voice control at home via Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit on the one hand and remote control via the Hue smartphone app on the other.
