The integrated twilight sensor switches Padea on automatically at dusk and off again when the sun rises. It automatically lights up to 20% with a pleasant, warm white colour temperature. The light emitted is not visible to many insects, so they are not attracted to the house number light. The motion sensor, which is also included, illuminates the light at 100% for 30 seconds when movement is detected. If the Padea is integrated into a smart home system, this opens up many more possibilities. The brightness can be infinitely dimmable and the warm white colour temperature can also be adjusted as required in the warm white range. It can also be conveniently controlled via smartphone. Paulmann presents the smik gateway as a smart home bridge, which can be purchased separately via the accessories. An app for Android and iOS is available free of charge. This is compatible with Amazon Alexa and therefore also enables voice control. Alternatively, it can also be used with ZigBee-compatible smart home systems from other manufacturers. With smart home hand-held transmitters, such as the Gent remote control from Paulmann, which is also available as an accessory, it can also be operated without a bridge.
