However, if it is integrated via a ZigBee bridge, such as the smik gateway from Paulmann, or coupled with a ZigBee-based remote control (see accessories), the Velora can do much more. The brightness can be dimmed remotely and there is also a choice of 16 million colours. When using the bridge from Paulmann, the free smik app for iOS and Android is available, which can also be used to control the light while travelling. The smik app is also compatible with Amazon Alexa, so that voice control is also possible. With its flat profile and white surface, it is barely noticeable on white walls and ceilings when switched off and therefore blends harmoniously into modern, elegant living spaces. Thanks to its robust metal frame, it also does not require a frame, giving the impression that this LED panel is floating on the ceiling. Once switched on, Velora cannot be overlooked. High-quality LEDs combined with a satinised diffuser provide pleasant and good general lighting.
