Malamata pendant light - tilting structure with spherical opal glass lampshade The Malamata pendant light is particularly eye-catching thanks to its large, spherical diffuser, which is made of mouth-blown opal glass. The slender, linear suspension of the hanging light is made of steel. A counterweight, which is located on the lower rod opposite the lampshade, can be released and moved by pressing a button. The lampshade offers space for an LED bulb, the light from which transforms the glass into a bright, all-round radiant sphere. The concept for the Malamata lamp series comes from the Israeli designers Kfir and Orit Magia Schwalb (Studio shulab). The name Malamata refers to the Hebrew meaning of "up" and "down", which is reflected in the direction of movement in the orientation of the tilt. The production is the responsibility of the Italian lighting manufacturer Luceplan.
