This traditional cottage garden climber showcases whorls of tubular pink and white honeysuckle flowers that beautifully adorn its twining stems. Ideal for creating an informal display against walls and fences, it can also be trained over free-standing obelisks.Reaching a height of 7m and spreading to 1.5m, plant Honeysuckle against a sturdy support such as a trellis or strong wires attached to walls and pergolas. It thrives in fertile, moist, free-draining soil, with poor soils improved by adding well-rotted manure or garden compost. Choose a sunny or semi-shaded location.
