Carex pendula (Marginal Aquatic)

Carex pendula is a vibrant marginal aquatic native to Britain. This Pendulous Sedge produces dense clumps of tall, gently arching, deep green, grassy stems that provide superb cover for wildlife. During summer, long, weeping seed heads similar to catkins create an eye-catching display, adding further texture and interest. Ideal for pond and lake edges, bog gardens and the back of damp borders. Height and spread: 120cm (36). Planting depth: Zones 1, & 2 to 15cm below water level.
