Caltha palustris var. alba (Marginal Aquatic)

Caltha palustris var. alba is a beautiful white version of its popular cousin Caltha palustris. In March and April, white, cup-like blooms with bright yellow central stamens create an elegant display and provide a useful source of nectar. This clump-forming hardy perennial flowers less prolifically than its cousin, but once established, it will produce a second flush of blooms later in the year. Marsh Marigold is perfect for growing in streams and pond margins. Height: 22cm (9). Spread: 30cm (12). Planting depth: Zones 1 & 2 to 10cm below water level.
