Typha gracilis (Marginal Aquatic)

Typha gracilis is a slightly smaller Bulrush than Typha angustifolia making it better suited to medium and large ponds. This fast growing perennial bears its cylindrical light brown flower heads above strap-like, narrow, green foliage throughout summer. This deciduous Bulrush makes a pleasing sight in summer and provides plenty of winter interest if the tall flower stems are left in place. Height and spread: 150cm (59).
