Filipendula ulmaria

Native to Britain, Filipendula ulmaria is commonly found growing next to streams and in ditches. During the summer, tall erect stems bear clouds of fluffy cream blooms which sway in the breeze above fragrant leaves. Meadowsweet is a wonderful hardy perennial with attractive flowers that will be adored by butterflies and pollinators. Great for growing in pond margins, boggy areas, damp meadows and wildflower gardens. Height: 90cm (36). Spread: 60cm (24). Planting depth: Zone 1 in reliably moist or boggy soil.
